Knysna Sedgefield Hospice had the privilege of serving our community by providing a water table serving ice cold water, sweets and coke to the runners who joined in on The Knysna Nite Race last night, organised by the Knysna Marathon Club.
Staff members were also given the opportunity to participate in the race and we’re proud to say that 8 of our staff members took up the challenge of joining in too! One of our Community Health Care workers, Avela Mpongo achieved a Silver medal for running the 10km race, his first race ever!
Well done to Avela and all our staff involved! You’ve done us and our community proud once again
