Hospice Sweepstakes


Knysna Sedgefield Hospice Sweepstakes is all about supporting the work we do to care for 180+ patients and their families. It raises essential funding that ensures our team of highly trained staff can provide critical health and psychosocial support to people in our community facing a life-threatening or life-altering illness. 

You’ll be contributing to our all-important work of providing dignity and quality of life to our patients in their time of greatest need. PLUS, every ticket you buy enters YOU into the draw to win CASH quarterly! Over R10 000 is up for grabs each draw. 

Tickets are just R50 – get as many as you can to increase your chances of winning! Pay monthly (from R50 per month) or annually (from R600 per year). Your contribution is tax deductible and 18a Receipts are sent out at the end of the tax year (for half of the total contribution).

  • Knysna Sedgefield Hospice (KSH) is a National Lotteries Commission registered club that generates a sustainable source of income for KSH.
  • Draws take place quarterly under supervision of Knysna Sedgefield Hospice Management. 50% of the contribution is used for patient care/running costs of KSH and 50% goes into the quarterly draw to be won. You can pay the cost of your entry monthly or annually.
  • Cash prizes are made up as follows:
    • 1st Prize 60%
    • 2nd Prize 25%
    • 3rd Prize 15%
  • Winners are notified via phone and/or via email. Results of the draws will also be advertised on our Website, Facebook Page and local newspapers. All SWEEPSTAKES members have the option to receive an 18A tax certificate for half the amount at the end of each financial year.
