There is a growing trend in Knysna for individuals who are having a special celebration, such as a 60th birthday party or anniversary, to say to their invited guests:
"Please don't bring a present, but rather make a donation to . . ."
We have been the beneficiaries of a number of such generous and thoughtful birthday celebrators, including on one occasion the birthday party of two pugs!
So that the giver can have something physical to hand over to the person in whose name the donation is make, we have designed a really beautiful 'gift voucher'. These will be given to those who make the donations. Of course these may be appropriate to mark more serious occasions such as memorial services. Supplies of these will be available from B.O.N.D. House or phone Annie on 044 384 0593. We hope this will add something really special to the act of giving in someone else's name.
