Knysna Sedgefield Hospice has always recognised that volunteer involvement is its most valuable asset.
By supporting staff, volunteers extend the range and quality of services that Hospice is able to offer.
Volunteers are therefore key to fulfilling the Hospice Mission Statement.
Volunteers are not involved in patients' medical care nor do they undertake the work of paid staff but complement staff in practical and helpful ways. Whatever duty, the volunteer's support will provide a higher quality of service than otherwise would be available. Volunteers are involved in everything from office work to helping out in our beautiful gardens, from driving our patients to Hospice to helping at Day Care, from catering to organising events, from rattling tins to helping out at one of our two shops. Should you be at all interested in joining us please complete an application form. We will then contact you for an interview with our Volunteer Services Manager, Judi Kent. Contact details
