The team of Knysna Hospice - Volunteers

Our Team : Volunteers

“Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.”

Knysna Sedgefield Hospice has always recognised that volunteer involvement is its most valuable asset. By supporting staff, volunteers extend the range and quality of services that Hospice is able to offer.

Volunteers are involved in all aspects of Hospice work and complement staff in practical and helpful ways. As a volunteer for Hospice you may be asked to attend a Hospice orientation session.

Volunteers are very important in:
  • Raising / collecting money
  • Doing critical jobs
  • Promoting Hospice
